My name is Stephen Janke. I am a Baptist minister in N.J. In May of 1971 I was a Sentry Dog Handler in South Vietnam for the Air Force Security Police and twenty years old. I chose the Heart Token for you, TAZ, because I feel you share a HEART like no other dog. You are a defintely a dog of a different breed...as I know you, personally...I'm your Grandma. I've never been so proud in all my life even if you were a "human" child. You saved my daughter's life and I will forever be grateful to you. It's because of you - that she wakes up every morning with a smile on her face - because she told me so. God Bless My Precious GRANDSON! You are truly a HERO yet just a special, normal dog who loves his Jolly Ball and Frisbees always loving to play fetch. I hope you live longer than any ACD out there - you deserve a long happy, healthy life.

So sorry, your life was cut short, LUCKY. It's so not fair that dog's don't get the chance to live as long as "US" humans when you guys provide UNCONDITIONAL LOVE everyday and always provide forgiveness with humility. You are one brave HERO with my utmost RESPECT...may you rest peacefully...and I hope to meet you someday and shake your paw!
